About

Sunrise National Distributors, Inc. was established in 1983 by Timothy Seward. Tim owned and operated several Tidy Car and Sun Country retail centers, and he founded Sunrise as a source for wholesale automotive accessories. At the start, Sunrise employed eight people and maintained two vehicles to make deliveries throughout Michigan. In 1993, Scott Carmona joined Tim as a partner, allowing Sunrise to focus on exceptional customer service and to implement numerous operational efficiencies. The original warehouse, which had been located above the Bay City Sun Country store, moved to Saginaw. As additional product lines were added and sales continued to grow, the warehouse moved again, in 1995, to its current location in Flint.

After four decades, Sunrise has grown into a leading regional wholesale distributor, priding itself on excellent customer service and attention to detail. Through it all, the organization has not lost sight of its most important asset: its customer relationships. This focus truly sets Sunrise apart.
